Teddy Suryana

This picture is one of a series I took in the old harbour named Paotere in Makassar (Ujung Pandang), Sulawesie. In this harbour still wooden vessels (Bugis prahu) from all over Indonesia unload and embark cargo by hand.
This man was so kind to invite me on his boat, loading flour by human muscle power!
